Soul food the food of the soul

FOOD OF THE SOUL (triptych of the 3 Marys)          

”2000 YEARS of History lived in the inertia of a myth and the burial of a body that still remains a mystery.”

ASSUMPTIONS:

There are beings born without Jesus Christ. People born into families, places or countries where the Christian religion has not marked the psycho-moral development of the individual since birth. I am one of those people. I was born without Him. And in the meantime, I ”found” Him. I will leave this life without the belief in the ”virginity” of Mary. With the doubt of the Resurrection. And, probably with the subsequent judgment without appeal. I did not have a Christian education. They even spared me the baptism. And fortunately no form of religion has “contaminated” my psyche. Nonetheless…

I fell back on studying this topic simply for the cultural, philosophical, symbolic and mystical sense, for the complexity of its facets, but in the absence of any subjective personal conditioning, in the absence of any partisan religious conviction.

CERTAINTIES

Hungry for certainties, for the need to believe in something, humanity has digested for 2000 years a myth that still leaves many misunderstandings. Today, the Church is experiencing the greatest crisis of faith, spirituality and credibility ever experienced and perhaps it is right that, in the times in which we live, someone investigates this very contemporary topic, continuing to investigate all the still rich spiritual heritage of mystery .

MY RESEARCH

My work, ”Soul Food”, despite its apparent aura of Christian faith, is actually not! I only investigate the mystical content of the Resurrection, and the Destiny, of a ”body” which, after 2000 years, still remains above all a mystery.

Interpreted as a metaphor, the journey of Christ’s soul to Heaven is its Burial in Eternity.

In this metaphorical journey, biblical sources point to the strawberry as the food of the dead, the food of souls on their 40-day journey to the Kingdom of God (Heaven)

The hunger, which I invoke in the text of the video, is nothing other than a philosophical hunger, the hunger for knowledge, which leads the spiritual being to an investigation into the boundaries of the truth of the Myth. A myth that says that the body died and was resurrected and traveled to Heaven. This is his Burial! A burial in Eternity of a body that, existed or not, dead or resurrected, in any case gave inertia to 2000 years of beliefs and hopes of billions of human beings.

His burial is in the individual conscience of Christians, Jesus Christ is buried (yet alive!) in the collective memory.

In the journey I invoked, the body, the soul and the spirit separate and each follows its Destiny.

The temptation to sin of the body is rejected.

The soul travels nourished by biblical strawberries.

The spirit has taken possession of a female being, a symbol of fertility and transcendence. Every inheritance must be passed down in an absolutely female bloodline. What the Church has denied for 2000 years, and continues to deny, is blood descent from Christ. Here there is another paradox: the reality, again according to the Bible, is that the only witnesses of the death and Resurrection of Christ are three women: Mary Mother, Mary Magdalene and Mary of Cleophas. They are the witnesses of his Burial in Eternity, the only ones who witnessed him. A burial without a precise space-time connotation, a burial that took place without any rite. When the body is lost, the eggs redeemed with the blood of the Crucifixion remain, the only material remains which later acquire a strong symbolic value.
